How will you be assessed?
The Fellowship is a practical examination conducted by an IDTA appointed Examiner. Candidates, both with a partner and individually, will be asked to demonstrate the appropriate dance genre to music and will be expected to answer technical questions.
Prerequisites
Candidates will be required to have held the appropriate Licentiate qualification for a minimum of one year prior to the examination.

Fees
Candidates for IDTA dance teaching qualifications are required to apply using the IDTA Professional Application Form and pay the examination fee in advance. Training fees are set by the teacher.

Theatre Branch: Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz and Theatre Craft
How will you be assessed?
The Fellowship qualification is a practical examination conducted by an IDTA appointed Examiner. Candidates are required to produce a portfolio for the IDTA Examiner to review in advance of the examination. Candidates will be asked to demonstrate and discuss with the Examiner all aspects of the Fellowship syllabus. Technical aspects of the examination are from the Advanced 2 Performers Award. Candidates are also required to teach a small class of pupils so the Examiner may observe their teaching skills.

The Freestyle Fellowship qualification is a practical examination conducted by an IDTA appointed Examiner. Candidates will present a portfolio and will be asked to demonstrate this dance style and answer questions.
